Owners love their employees and their family like their own. while my mom was on hospice and we came to visit each time she loved everything. She passed away June 16th but every chance she got she raved about the food and loved Tommy so much. I think she loved his she-crab soup more though lol. Onion rings , shrimp were all our favorites 🤩

We stopped at Mona Lisa’s in Norfolk, VA late at night after vacation, and it was exactly what we needed. The service was great, accommodating and the portion sizes were definitely worth the price, honestly the soda was some of the freshest I’ve had in a long time. As a family of three, we ordered the chicken parm sub, wings, baked ziti, and fettuccine Alfredo. Everything came out hot, filling, and satisfying after a long trip. The only things I personally wasn’t too fond of were the salad and the bread, but with such a big menu and so many people loving this place, it’s easy to find something you’ll enjoy. Mona Lisa’s has become one of our classic go-to Italian spots whenever we’re passing through or just looking to grab a quick drink and a comforting meal. Definitely worth stopping by.

No salt was harmed in the making of these pizzas. Ive never had pizza so bland before in my life. Could have made a better pizza with premade dough, prego sauce and a pre shredded cheese blend. The food is still edible and not overtly nasty, so I’ll still give 3 stars. It is indeed pizza but not a good one. I understand pizza at its core is just dough, sauce and cheese, but I’ve never once had a pizza where I thought I should probably put salt on this the same way you would with a plain French fry. Alright service. A long wait and not very organized for takeout. I can see where others are coming from on that regard. Music is loud and you need to park out back when it gets busy. Gosh I miss the old Mona Lisa’s pizza in Va Beach

I asked Jessica, a server, for non-pizza suggestions. She recommended the alfredo. I'll try the shrimp alfredo she suggested next time. The alfredo sauce is excellent! The grilled chicken was okay. The carrot cake is delicious!

Stopped in with a coworker to have a quick dinner. I had the pastrami sub, my coworker had the tuna fish. Super tasty, reasonably portions, no $40 sandwich over here! My coworker ended up getting an extra one to take home, so that should speak for itself. Between four happy hour cocktails and three sandwiches, after tip - it was only 50 bucks. 😲👍
